Havasu Food Bank Help! The Food Shelves are getting bare. People in Need are in Danger of not having enough food to eat each day. The Havasu Community Health Foundation is getting hit in two directions: The high cost of food & gas is financially crippling many families and causing an increase in demand for food aid, plus they are seeing food shortages in delivery from their main food distributor. Also, during our hot summers our seasonal population (snowbirds) have left for the summer and this may be a factor reducing the volume of food donations.

The Havasu Community Health Foundation is getting hit in two directions: The high cost of food & gas is financially crippling many families and causing an increase in demand for food aid, plus they are seeing food shortages in delivery from their main food distributor. Another factor is that during our hot summers our seasonal population (snowbirds) have left for the summer and this reduces the amount of food donations.

In Lake Havasu City we would never knowingly let the shelves go bare & this is a situation we can change immediately.
